National Agents Alliance® partnered with Lifespan Daycare for the Shoppers Day 2009 at Target. Shoppers Day is an annual event which gives disabled children a chance to shop for the holidays. Corporate staff members Kristen Crabtree, Communications Specialist and Katie Reavis of the Lead Department helped out at the local Burlington, N.C. event.

“It was truly rewarding to see joy on the children’s faces as they got to shop and pick out gifts. They all were having such a great time.” said Kristen Crabtree.

“Kristen and I had fun helping out.  It’s the act of a simple kindness that can make a huge difference in child’s day.” said Katie Reavis.

This year, there were approximately 116 students from Lifespan Daycare, and other local elementary, middle, and high schools. Alamance County volunteers helped make holiday shopping fun for disabled children.

This was the 6^th annual Shoppers Day. Each student was given a $35.00 gift card to spend.
