Born a businessman, Dick Sylvester had savvy sales skills since childhood. Dick grew up in Rocky Fork State Park, Ohio and started his first business at the tender age of 10 years old. His mowing business funded his college education and ended when he was 19 years old. Dick completed his college degree from Xavier in Cincinnati, Ohio. He later when on to get his MBA, but quit when he realized his potential in sales.

Dick was a manager in the resort business until moving into insurance in 1993 and 3 years later in 1996, he met Barry Clarkson. Dick was making a stable six figures but wasn't satisfied.

Dick was there for the beginnings of Andy ,Barry, and Philip's practice company. I knew the integrity and trustworthiness of the passion, the polish, and the punch. The concept of mortgage protection and NAA's marketing programming would work for me from the day I heard about it.

Overcoming debt became Dick's biggest challenge, but that all changed after a National Convention. After the convention in January 2005, we made a move to our present house in July 2005 to accommodate growth. As a result, our business doubled and the kids loved the new surroundings.

What Dick enjoys most about working for NAA is the partnership it offers with your spouse and the predictability of the numbers. This system is predictable and easy to duplicate. Our helping the client mentality leads to a win-win situation for all!

Dick is really big on family. His wife is Connie, oldest son Aaron, Caleb and wife Donna, Hannah and husband Chris, Abigail, Susanna and husband Matt, and Adam. The Sylvester's enjoy traveling to the Outer Banks with their growing family.

Through NAA, Dick has been able to earn a consistent six figure income without building a team. His success started to attract people and Dick has now grown his business to a million dollar agency in 2006. I want to build a 2 million dollar agency and earn my $500K onyx ring.
